Why cant anyone figure out that about half of the places to live in the usa are mega expensive?

I swear I hear a lot of questions askin "I want to live in a cheap place in a safe area of a big city" you get my meaning. Well so many places aren't so cheap for such safe areas. Places such as L.A. N.Y.C San Francisco San Diego Boston And many more places It gets a little old to many people ask the same question and always get the same answer. It doesn't change just for that person Me I'm an LA born and I can already tell you that living here in Los Angeles is not cheap the Housing Market is sky rocketing, amung other things
