How are teaching and journalism jobs in Colorado?

I'm currently a senior in high school. I live in Pennsylvania. I am currently planning to attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh this coming fall for journalism. However, I really want to move to Colorado and I want to either be a teacher or journalist. I am looking to possibly transfer to the University of Denver my sophomore year and maybe even double major in journalism and history education. How are teaching and journalism jobs in Colorado. If I am a teacher I would want to be a high school history teacher.

During the 3 years that I worked in schools, I was laid off twice. The Rocky Mountain Newspaper, which was one of the biggest newspapers in Colorado, is now closed. If you really want to study here, then be my guest... but I highly suggest you look for work somewhere else.
