What to do at Navy Boot Camp to stand out in the right way?

I want the change to take a recruit leadership position and want to do the right/smart things.

Listen to your instructors very carefully and do whatever they tell you to do without question or hesitation. Show leadership qualities.

Be the strong quiet type. Always do what your instructors tell you. Pay attention to detail. Team work. Pass inspections. Help your mates in a professional way. Do not yell at them. work with the group as a whole not as an individual. speak only when spoken to, when your told to do something do your best to get it done right the first time. never say you need something. recruits only ever need food, water and 8-counts... More

First off, do yourself a favor...try not to stand out at Rtc. It's meaningless, and will only cause you grief. But if you really want to, ok.
