How do I not to bring unpleasant event at work to home?

I'm still young and sometimes take things personally when unpleasant event happen at work. One small event completely destroy my whole day and I repeatedly think about that event over and over in my mind, it even takes a week for me to completely forget a single bad event. How do I forget a bad event @ work quickly and not to bring it home?
