Puppy classes, do I need to?

Where I live the only puppy classes available are 1 on 1 training so no other dogs. Do I still need to 'enroll' my dog in them? Cause most people say it's just for the soailuzation. I'd be prepared to teach my puppy any trick/manner that it'd need to know. Plz help I'm very confused :(
