Are there any real work at home jobs that don't require start up money OR signing up for other programs?

Are there any real work at home jobs that don't require start up money OR signing up for other programs? I would like to give working at home a try but I am having a hard time finding anything that seems legit. They look okay until you make it to the end and they ask for money or they tell you you have to sign up for 5 other programs. Does anyone have any experience in this?
