Is a father responsible for child support?

I'm 5 months pregnant separated with my fiance. He doesn't want to help me with the unborn child. He's the biological father. I dnt work due to bein a stay @ hme mom. we have another child too. im goin to look for a job but he doesnt want to help me meantime. we live in los angeles ca, can i get him for child support as well for the unborn child?

Go to the California Department of Child Support Services. it's completely free to do and they will help you set up the court date and help filing out the paperwork. Yes, he would be responsible. But from the sound of it, he won't volunteer to pay it. You need to contact an attorney and get a court order for him to pay.

You can have him pay child support for the child you already have and once your unborn child is born go and get that child on a child support case. They are his kids so therefore he has to pay!

Shesh sounds like he's a real ***0. Wha does he think that just because the relationship is over then so is his resposibility? Like someone said already take him to court for the existing child. Then after the second one is born he'll still be resposible for that one to.

As there is a 30% chance the child is not his, he shouldn't until paternity is established.
