How hard vs. profitable is it to make reptile and amphibian enclosures?

Ok so I am thinking about making custom cages for reptiles and amphibians. I do have wood working experience and have worked with plexi glass and screen before. I am trying to decide whether or not making it my primary job would be worth it. I live in central North Carolina and really am unsure about how to ship the cages I make. Any information from experienced persons would be appreciated.
