Why do republicans have such a viral attitude toward the concept of Equality?

They object to anything which tends to level the playing field. This includes Affirmative Action, tuition assistance to lower income students, Medicaid for our poorest citizens and almost anything else. They protect the wealthy by insisting on lower tax rates for corporate CEOs and hedge fund manages whereby they can avoid paying ordinary income tax like the rest of us, enjoying the lower capital gains rate since they claim their income as stock options. What causes them to get their thongs all in a wad over the concept of Equality?

Republicans who live in trailers and drink too much fantasize about the day they'll be the Super Rich themselves and pull down those Tax Cuts for Billionaires! It's a delusional bunch! And they pay the taxes for their idiot Billionaire.

Leveling the playing field isnt equality. Equality BEFORE the law is the only true form of equality.

Because deep inside they know how inferior they actually are and feel the need to try to keep other "tribes" down. It's a throw-back to the Stone Age, as is the rest of conservatism.

The problem is not the concept of equality but the way that Democrats interpret equality. Everyone is created equal but it is not the job of the government to make everyone equal.

Since when is Affirmative Action fair? It gives minorities and women jobs and spots at college simply for being minorities and women, while pushing white guys deeper down, with less and less of a chance of a good education and job. How fair is that?

Leveling the playing field is not giving breaks to minorities without the same breaks being offered to majorities. You don't have a clue about equality.

Are you insane or a liar? ALL Democrats demand separate and unequal legal classes BY LAW. Republicans fight against THAT - as literally all of the non-retarded have always known - yet YOU claim it's THEM who oppose equality WHILE you personally demand equality be PREVENTED by FORCE of law. Amazing.

Equality & equal opportunity does NOT always mean equal outcome. Liberals want equal outcome regardless of effort.

Getting an education levels the playing field. Many of is do not have a problem helping those in need. But we do not feel obligated to help those who refuse to help themselves first. If someone does not study in high school and u did, why am I obligated to share the spoils of my own hard work with them?
