What is the best and worst about being a paralegal? Any disappointments?

I'm planning on going to school and paralegal is what I've decided on. I like to read and find out the why of things, research and help people although I'm not a social butterfly. I imagine having my nose stuck in a book in a back room for the most part, working for a law office with some meeting and interviewing clients. I'm not sure about all this and it's scary and intimidating, the thought of going to school for four years. I'm 46 years old.

Hopefully the employment situation... More
