what is a better pick between mechanical and chemical engineering?

please give me details on the pros and cons. also enlighten me about career options after each of the streams. what are the job prospects? what is taught in what stream. firstly, thanks fr the info but i still need more insight into it for i have to make a career choice.

There are much scope of both streams mentioned in your question. Choose that stream in which your choice is maximum.
