What are the differences between Army combat engineers and bridge crewmembers?

I asked this yesterday but no one answered. Thanks, but than why are they separate mos'? Combat Engineer 21B Bridge Cremember 21C. Oh ok. Thanks a lot.

Technically they are both the same. Charlies, or 12C Bridge Crewmembers and Bravos or 12B Combat Engineers go through OSUT together at Fort Leonardwood. Bridge Crewmembers are trained as Combat Engineers, but their training is more focused on their bridge building specialty which includes wet gap crossings. Combat... More
