Job vs Apprenticeship?

OK so at the moment I am on JSA (absolutely hate it!!) but I have found two suitable options for me (eventually). The Job is a ICT Customer Service Desk Assistant (£9 hour/37 hours) and the apprenticeship lasts for 36 months (£202.81 a week/38 hours). I am applying for both and hopefully stand a good chance because of the 3 years in ICT I completed/passed. But which one do you think is the better option? (I'm just happy something I enjoy has crept up, sick of seeing Picker Packer jobs everywhere lol) Hi, thanks for detailed reply. I am currently at a level 3 so will be looking doing a level 4. After doing a little search following up on what you said, I found that: "NVQs are available to all, but if you are aged 16-24 you can undertake an Apprenticeship, which includes an NVQ at no cost" Even though the apprenticeship and job are a fair distance away from where I live, would I be able to attend my local college to do the NVQ? (if they actually offer that qualification) Either way I wouldn't be too fussed on which one I got (if I get any that is lol), as I miss having something to get up for :( Again cheers, best of luck with your college!
