NAVY LOGISTIC SPECIALIST!?

I recently joined the navy and was given LS as my MOS which was the only job available at the time. Long story short ive tried researching and researching this position its just hard being as broad as it is. My concerns are will I be a store cashier? will I have to sit there and sort mail? Do I get the same oppurtunity to travel as everyone else does? I understand any job in the Navy is still a job in the Navy but id like to have to not spend the next minimum of 4 years at a cash register. Anyone with any knowledge of this MOS please help me out, thank you

You will be supply. You will hand gear to people when they want/need it. You will lift lots of boxes. You will keep track of gear/equipment and weapons. Everyone needs supply. You will travel, just like everyone else.

you will do all that..and more. all ships have at least one LS on board, and the larger ones will have several.
