Is a pharmacists job to make sure any of your medication you get at that pharmacy doesn't interact?

I am taking lamictal (for bipolar, allegra (for allergies, omeprazole dr (for acid reflux). So is it the pharmacists job to look for medication don't react with one another & cause bad side effects?

I wouldn't expect that from the pharmacist as they are simply a technician performing a task. That task is to get you the correct amount/type of medication and tell you how to use it. The rest lays on the shoulders of your doctor.

As long as you get them all at the same pharmacy... however allegra and omeprazole are both over the counter so the pharmacist won't even know you are taking them unless you tell him...... You can do it yourself online, just google "drug interaction checker" and a couple of them will come up. The meds you are taking... More
