How expensive is living in los angeles if you are 19 ?

Im from the UK but next year when im 19 im moving over to america to be a fashion intern, the rent will be around $500-$600 where im living, what paying job would you suggest i should apply for? i also have money saved up, how expensive is the living there? including renting a car.

You can NOT legally work in the United States without a work visa, and it is practically impossible for a Brit to get one. The ONLY way is for an American company to sponsor you because you have a unique skill in demand here, and there are no qualified Americans able to do that job. Fashion intern, I don't think so... Living in la is very expensive if you're 19. Once you hit 20 it really cheap though. Too bad for you

Whoa! Do you have your work visa? You'll need that before you come over here. Visit the US Embassy in London, if you haven't already, for details. And where did you find a place to live in your price range in the LA area- or anyplace? If it was on Craigslist, odds are good you got or will get defrauded.
