If I want to be a pilot, how do I fund my training?
I've long considered training to be a pilot, but the only backset is the money that it costs to train. I looked into Oxford and it was a total of £70,000 without ALL costs. So, how would I get the money for it? I would able to fund around £10,000 and maybe a bit more but that's it really...

do what everybody else does: work, and fly when you can afford to. i fly twice a week in the summer, and once a week in the winter.

The best way in my opinion is to pick a different career and go for that first. Get a college degree in that field and start working. Save every penny you can. After a few years, not only will you probably have enough money to fund your flight training but you also have a good backup career (with experience) to fall... More
