Best City in UK To live in?

Our family is looking to move to UK for living because of shitty job situation here. I have been few time to UK and London is just horrible for living, while in Scotland everyone there is so friendly :D What would you say are the best Medium-big sized city to live in UK/Scotland which isn't that expensive and you could more easily find a job there and are generaly just good place to live in that includes low crime rate,more friendly people,not horrible weather and again not the most expensive one! Thx.

Take a look at Bath - old Roman city, loads to see and do, nice people, great countryside nearby and other towns and cities like Bristol.

chichester in west sussex is such a nice place to live, it isnt expensive but is really classy and has loads of culture with the momuments in the town centre etc, and its in the south so always sunny

SCOTLAND is in the UK. Edinburgh is nice, as is Glasgow. We are NOT all bigots, by the way. Since when did so called 3rd world people cause crime? They work their back sides off!
