Heath Problems, short on please?

This will probably get long so please bare with me and read it all, I could really use some advice. So last October my wisdom teeth were sore a little, it was the first time ever that they were sore and I am 27 years old. But the soreness only lasted like 4 days max. So A few days before Christmas then, my ears hurt. It seriously just hit me. So I thought well I will have a lot of time to sleep over Christmas due to having off from work. So if I am sick or anything I should be able to kick this illness over Christmas. Well I unfortunately don’t have health insurance. I don’t because I’m in-between graduating from college and trying to find a career. So I graduated but no big boy job yet. I have the same college job but like any college job it really doesn’t pay that much. So I went to the free clinic, in early January, where I live and a nurse practitioner (NP) saw me, looked in my ears and said they looked red. So she gave me some sort of antibiotics and I took them as prescribed and my ears started to feel better. Then after I took them like a month later I could tell that my ears weren’t healed and that they were still sore. So I went back to the free clinic late February and saw the same NP. She remembered me and was like well then we are going to have to hit you harder. So she gave me a stronger antibiotic. I took as prescribed again and same results. It helped during taking them but it didn’t cure me. So then I was frustrated and did a bit of research. I researched that it could by my wisdom teeth because I read that teeth can cause pain in the ear because they are so close to each other and then I remembered that my teeth hurt last October so I went to the oral surgeon to see what he thought. He took some x-rays and asked me if my teeth hurt. I said no they don’t and I explained why I was there, due to ears more then teeth because my teeth don’t bug me. Well said it is probably not my wisdom teeth because your teeth would generally hurt with your ears. He said my wisdom teeth actually grew in just fine and that I use them to chew and I thought ok, so I don’t need them out. And he said maybe it is your jaw structure. I was born with a odd jaw. Most people close their mouth and there top teeth sit a bit in front of their bottom teeth. Not me, mine line up even with each other. I thought ok well, thank you. Funny enough when I was in high school I was suppose to have a surgery to fix it and get my wisdom teeth out at same time but it was a 7 grand surgery and when I was on my father’s insurance at the time, his insurance didn’t cover any of it so we never got it. So then after the oral surgeon I made an appointment with the Marshfield clinic because they have a department that specialize in ears. I was going to pay out of pocket for it which I did. So before I go they want me to get my paper work from the free clinic faxed to them. So I went back to the free clinic the next after the oral surgeon and they faxed the paper work and saw me again and gave me like some steroids to try and a prescription nasal spray for my ears. Yeah worked temporarily, actually worked the best but didn’t fix anything. So it’s now late April and I went to my clinic appointment and my ears felt the best they had since before Xmas. So clinic did tests on my hearing and my hearing is normal and all. And the NP I saw there really couldn’t find anything and told me to come back a day they hurt. So June 3rd I went back because my ears were sore again. I don’t know if it was all the drugs that was holding ear pain at bay but I wasn’t cured by any means. So I went and saw the NP June 3rd and she noticed that my outer ear canal is red. So she prescribed to me some ear drops that kind of help, only for like an hour when I first use them. But she also wanted me to come back like 5 days so she could see me again and so the doctor could look at me too. So I went back and saw the NP and doctor. The doctor, in a nut shell concluded that it probably my jaw. That’s about the only thing he could come up with. He gave me a like a home remedy I could try once my current drops run out and if they get worse come back. So the only consistent answer I got was my jaw. FUNNY enough that night my left side upper wisdom tooth got a little sore again for like a day and a half. Then I look inside my mouth and notice my left wisdom tooth is like a bit crooked compared to the other side. My right lines right up with my other teeth but the left doesn’t so much. But the tooth doesn’t really ever hurt. So I think its my jaw line but i need 7k to do it. I thought about loan but i dont know if i can take that on with a car that is at 165k miles. Anyone know what i could do? I jsut want to feel better. I just want money, for sugery to feel better. Its not life threating so i dont know if the govt would help. But it is ahrd to live with constant pain. Thanks for reading and any advice you give is gr8. ty

It's hard to say what exactly it is. Everything is so close together. Some people don't need their wisdom teeth out because their mouths are big enough. You may have an abscess in that tooth. It would be at the root of the tooth. I would try going to a general dentist. Not oral surgery. All dentist are specialists from... More
