Do the Diamondbacks have the chance to return to the playoffs?

Ever since the May power surge of wins, they have been able to remain stable at the near top of the NL West division race. Pitching has its up and downs, but the offense seems to be what always gets the job done before the end of the game. The Giants have been plagued with injury and dipped down a bit but they are still able to lead the division. Do you think the Giant will struggle with injuries, and then have the Diamondbacks have come out of nowhere to win the NL West?

I'd like to see the Diamondbacks make a return to the playoffs. They are a young team that has gone through some rebuilding in the past years, and is still sort of in that phase currently. Some of Arizona's young starters have really stepped up, along with their young sluggers to begin forming a pretty strong baseball... More

I wish they didn't, but they do. If it weren't for the Giants pitching, they would have sunk already and the D-Backs would have been leading the division. But the Giants are finding ways to win, even with all the injuries, which might hold Arizona from getting their chances.

Yes, but they first have to shrink the giants down to size (get it.)

If the Twins have a chance to make the playoffs then I guess every team does :P but in all seriousness I doubt it. They are weak in pitching and their hitting isnt great at all. Giants are getting Sandoval back and Huff is starting to hit. Rockies will probably surge late agsin. I see Dbacks with 80 wins and 3rd place

Yes, they have a great chance of returning to the playoffs. This team is underrated and I like the fact that they are flying under the radar.

I want the D backs to win the NL West but the D backs have played the Giants 7 times and we won just 1. Its going to be tough to win the West with the Giants owning us. Come September. The whole month is vs NL West teams other than the Pirates coming to town. D backs have come back before a d maybe and hopefully after... More
