Company is in Srilanka and job is in India,to which country i have to pay income tax?

Iam working for Srilankan company staying in India for work,They are deducting tax from my salary according to srilankan act,do i need to pay indian tax also?

You need to file your income tax return but may claim rebate under section 90 which is in respect of avoidance of double taxation. For computation of this rebate consult some knowledgeable income tax practictioner.

exactly santosh said it all right....you will have to file your IT RETURN IN INDIA ALSO....but then in order to avoid double taxation and as per tax agreements between countries you will b granted reabate of all tax u paid there !!...consult a C.A with CERTIFICATE OF PRACTICE (C.O.P).....he will do d needful at d tym...
