Is this good pay for a new Criminal Justice graduate?

I just graduated with my Associates in Criminal Justice, I went to an interview today for a dispatcher job, the pay is $17.75 a hour. The interview went great the lady wants me to come back Friday for an additional interview. My boyfriend think I can find something better w/ more money, we live in Indiana I don't think so... Do do think this is reasonable pay for a new graduate?

A local firm is offering new Assoc. degree grads jobs as security guards ,. starting at $ 9.15 an hour. And they have no shortage of applicants. You are right. He needs to get an idea of what the real world is like.
