When will the Establishment Clause be enforced?

"In God We Trust" Why do we have such a phrase on our currency? Aren't the church and the state two separate, unrelated entities in the United States, regardless of the demographics in the population? Lecture me Y!A. @Pimo - Doesn't matter. This is an important clause in the constitution and it's not being enforced.

It doesn't belong there. The only organization who will fight it is the ACLU. They only take cases when SOMEONE ASKS THEM TO. Apparently, no one has asked them to. call them.

It's not a thing to be enforced, except as against the government (what you're suggesting is against the people). The establishment clause's intent was to protect the church from being controlled by the government, or a church-state marriage, as was occurring in England when our nation was founded.
