Is a travel agent a good job for a Marine wife?
I'm thinking about becoming a travel agent. I hear that Marine families move around a lot, so I was wondering if being a travel agent is a good job for someone who will be moving quite a bit. Any other tips or comments that you could tell me about anything related to being a travel agent would be awesome! thanks :)

It depends on what the requirements are for the job. If it is something that you have to be licensed or certified to do in each state you live in, it may not be a good choice. For example if every time you move to a different state you have to pay to take a certification test, it probably wouldn't be worth it.

People don't really use travel agents anymore. That job is becoming obsolete since travel arrangements can be made online. I think its a good job if you like doing it, (thats a decision that you will make).
