One derives energy from god by meditation to do the rest of the divine activities of serving god and humanity. Thus the beauty of yoga is achieved by jgnana and karma which Sri Krishna emphasizes in Srimad Bhagavad Githa.
Everybody adopting the two methods automatically can experience the glory of god manifested in the universe.

None the above
The best choice is to lead a simple life with all possible honesty, care for family, relatives, neighbors, friends etc
Serve the world and show how a godly man should be.
The best example is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who was a Leader of the group with a great mission, a Father, a husband, a good neighbor, a Warrior, a diplomat, a businessman, a teacher, and the most obedient to his lord.
Despite of most authorities he had a simple life to the extent he did not had oil for the lamp on his last day in this world, and most of the times he bear nothing excess to couple of dates at his house.
This was the simplicity he did not left the day today life but yet the most fearing to Allah.

I choose ...
1) Meditate all alone 24 hours a day and enjoy your “self” as the only activity
i don't know how to explain but , since from childhood i like meditation very much , i have seen many purana stories in the television where god gets happy for those who do serve austerity for him and he will appear before them and give his bliss , here please don't mistake me that i like or wil ask boon to god , no i never do meditation for that , i accept what god bestowed on me . ok if i do meditation then my motive will be to see the god and speak with him , so on that note i told meditation , i also like second option but as i said i was attracted towards the meditation , so i go with option .

Your second option is better than the first option in my opinion.
But observing HUMANITY & Loving all beings is much superior to even the second option.

Out of two choices, I shall choose second.
But we should also think beyond,
Whole world belongs to the almighty/Bhagwan
Therefore all are at par,
With this approach we should discharge our duty and behave with surroundings appropriate with above thinking in mind.
With our normal work in this world with sincerity and devotion will be satvik and turned into bhakti, same as mentioned in point no. 2.

What is eternity? Where does Hinduism talk about eternity? Pls quote from Hindu texts.
Both options are bad and for silly people, not for the ones who would like to utilise their brains and energy for a better purpose in life.
By choosing option 1 man becomes selfish and thinks only about himself. When he has so many things to do in this world, why should he sit down alone for 24 hrs and meditate? It is a stupid thing to do. Meditation is enough for an hour. In excess even Amrut is venomous. I assume that you have heard about that.
By choosing option 2 man is wasting his time, energy and natural resources. Off course, cutting sandal trees for getting sandalwood is a crime and destruction of our natural resources. If someone wants to sing and dance he should go to the discos or pubs than doing it on the streets. What is there to discuss about the divine? It can only be experienced. What is this divine events?
So dont waste time with your blind beliefs and live for an imaginary future where you think there will be eternity. Those are missionary statements. Dont mislead Hindus by using such language. There is no eternity. Whatever it is, it is now...at this moment. You take it or miss it.

2) That is our original constitutional position.
Lord Krishna states in the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavad-gītā As It Is 15.7 mamaivāḿśo jīva-loke jīva-bhūtaḥ sanātanaḥ manaḥ-ṣaṣṭhānīndriyāṇi prakṛti-sthāni karṣati SYNONYMS mama — My; eva — certainly; aḿśaḥ — fragmental particle; jīva-loke — in the world of conditional life; jīva-bhūtaḥ — the conditioned living entity; sanātanaḥ — eternal; manaḥ — with the mind; ṣaṣṭhāni — the six; indriyāṇi — senses; prakṛti — in material nature; sthāni — situated; karṣati — is struggling hard. TRANSLATION The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind. PURPORT In this verse the identity of the living being is clearly given. The living entity is the fragmental part and parcel of the Supreme Lord — eternally. It is not that he assumes individuality in his conditional life and in his liberated state becomes one with the Supreme Lord. He is eternally fragmented. It is clearly said, sanātanaḥ. According to the Vedic version, the Supreme Lord manifests and expands Himself in innumerable expansions, of which the primary expansions are called viṣṇu-tattva and the secondary expansions are called the living entities. In other words, the viṣṇu-tattva is the personal expansion, and the living entities are the separated expansions. By His personal expansion, He is manifested in various forms like Lord Rāma, Nṛsiḿhadeva, Viṣṇumūrti and all the predominating Deities in the Vaikuṇṭha planets. The separated expansions, the living entities, are eternally servitors. The personal expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the individual identities of the Godhead, are always present. Similarly, the separated expansions of living entities have their identities. As fragmental parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord, the living entities also have fragmental portions of His qualities, of which independence is one. Every living entity, as an individual soul, has his personal individuality and a minute form of independence. By misuse of that independence one becomes a conditioned soul, and by proper use of independence he is always liberated. In either case, he is qualitatively eternal, as the Supreme Lord is. In his liberated state he is freed from this material condition, and he is under the engagement of transcendental service unto the Lord; in his conditioned life he is dominated by the material modes of nature, and he forgets the transcendental loving service of the Lord. As a result, he has to struggle very hard to maintain his existence in the material world.
The words mamaivāḿśaḥ ("fragmental parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord") are also very significant. The fragmental portion of the Supreme Lord is not like some material broken part. We have already understood in the Second Chapter that the spirit cannot be cut into pieces. This fragment is not materially conceived. It is not like matter, which can be cut into pieces and joined together again. That conception is not applicable here, because the Sanskrit word sanātana ("eternal") is used. The fragmental portion is eternal. It is also stated in the beginning of the Second Chapter that in each and every individual body the fragmental portion of the Supreme Lord is present (dehino 'smin yathā dehe). That fragmental portion, when liberated from the bodily entanglement, revives its original spiritual body in the spiritual sky in a spiritual planet and enjoys association with the Supreme Lord. It is, however, understood here that the living entity, being the fragmental part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, is qualitatively one with the Lord, just as the parts and parcels of gold are also gold. http://vedabase.net/bg/15/7/
Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 4.31.14
yathā taror mūla-niṣecanena
tṛpyanti tat-skandha-bhujopaśākhāḥ
prāṇopahārāc ca yathendriyāṇāḿ
tathaiva sarvārhaṇam acyutejyā As pouring water on the root of a tree energizes the trunk, branches, twigs and everything else, and as supplying food to the stomach enlivens the senses and limbs of the body, simply worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead through devotional service automatically satisfies the demigods, who are parts of that Supreme Personality. http://vedabase.net/sb/4/31/14/
A crude example can be given. We are part of the whole and thus being the part of the whole, the part's constitutional position is to be connected with the whole. If a screw being a part of the machine is removed has no value, but if it is connected to the machine then it has value and usefulness.
