Ok to call the store manager to ask for job directly?

I'm interested in getting a part time (second shift) position at fedex kinkos as a second job. I have a resume that pretty much makes me a great candidate to work there, so I'm pretty confident that if a position is open I would get the job. The problem is applying through that website of theirs. Would it be okay to call kinko's directly, maybe ask for the branch manager and ask to send him my resume directly?

I would call in to see when the manager is gonna be there then stop by. Especially if it's not difficult for you to get to. Hopefully then he may have some time to speak with you and hopefully give you a job. Good luck.

It actually looks better to phone in to inquire about any positions available and if you could forward your resume in case a position opens up.
