How do I get a job as secretary?
I'd like to be a secretary and do clerical work. I am 20 years old, and have average to above average typing skills. I live in a small town and am not sure what kind of businesses have/need a secretary? I don't mind answering phones or filing or any of that.I suppose the real question is, where should i search, what other qualifications should I have and what should I expect? Thanks!

Put together a resume and then get out the yellow pages and start calling. Ask if you can fax over your resume and to who's attention. Computer skills; preferably Windows (Word, Outlook, etc). Just look in the local paper's job ads or apply directly with local businesses.
