A short history of Mexico?

An American, I've been married to a wonderful woman from Mexico for almost thirty years, and we moved own here to Tijuana nine years ago when I lost my job. I speak fluent Spanish and it is the language between me and my wife (always has been, even before moving here!) as I speak it better that she speaks English. Can anybody send to me a link to a good, concise history of Mexico, preferably from a hard-Left perspective (to satisfy this old Marxist!)? In English or in Spanish is okay, thanks/En Ingles o en Espanol, lo que sea, esta bien, !Gracias!.
