What else can I do to maximize my chances of being hired by the Big 4 Accounting Firms?

I'm going to be a senior in the fall at BU, majoring in Accounting. I am hoping to get my CPA license once I graduate from college in May 2012. Here are what I feel are the highlights/important information from my (so far) three years at BU: -2.8 cumulative GPA (I started off in engineering and I got a couple bad grades, which I am still trying to recover from, GPA-wise) -3.0 "major" GPA (my GPA from only my business classes -I have served as a Public Relations Chair and will now be the President of my school's Caribbean culture group -I will serve as the Public Relations Chair for my school's Accounting Association and will represent my school, along with the group's President, at a symposium at Grant Thornton in Boston in August -I am also a member of my school's International Business Club, and am looking to join the Finance and Investment Club -I volunteer with a group called the Boston Impact Group -I have worked a couple of jobs in college, mainly involving administrative and fiscal work -I am currently serving as the summer Finance Intern at a non-profit organization in Boston Given this list, can anyone give me some good advice as to what else I can do or improve on to maximize my chances of receiving a job offer from a Big 4 or even another really good accounting firm, once I leave college in May 2012? Thanks in advance!

A better GPA, assuming 4.0 is tops.
