Do you think another trillion dollar stimulus package would be a good idea?

I mean, with millions more of those shovel-ready jobs and all that really neat stuff. Our government could create or save even millions of more jobs. I think we should raise the debt ceiling and do another stimulus, don't you?

I think we need to go real big on the next stimulus, it's got to be a scatter shot approach to try and get some money into something useful.

Hell yes. Let's make sure all the rich people are poor, too. I think I am just going to have my paycheck direct deposited to the government, and that way I don't have to worry about my money. I know they will do the right thing with it.

The first one did nothing but increase our debt, why would anybody think another one would do any better?

Sure. After the Fed's QE1&2 $1 trillion + bond buying venture, we were all reassured by Bernanke's "We don't have a precise read on why this slower pace of growth is persisting,”

Yeah, really neat stuff. The President himself jokingly admitted that it didn't work to create jobs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVonk_OqEUU&playnext=1&list=PL8882EC38FF01D432
