What to do after college? Dilemma please help!?
I was fortunate enough to escape debt free, so I am not burdened by the chains of the material world. I have the freedom to do whatever my heart desires, but I am at a crossroads. I don't know what to do with my life. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in geology and have been offered a job right out of undergrad. I have two options: A) My two best friends from college have asked me to get a nice apartment with them and try to realize the technology start up we talked big about. It would be a once in the lifetime chance to bond with my two best friends, potentially launch a lucrative company, and relive our college days as single bachelors drinking, partying, being carefree, and meeting women. We have had each others back since day one, and the whole idea that we dreamed about will be realized, but there is a chance that jealousy could strain our relationship, a women can get in the way, or money can be an issue. If I go down this route chances are we would also take time off to do a 6 month backpacking trip in South America and Africa. B)I have been offered a job with the USGS that pays well, 60k a year, and it would utilize the knowledge I learned in college. I will have to relocate, have no friends, but I could start new. Chances are if I follow this path I would be married and settled within the next 5-6 years, something I never envisioned my self doing. This seems to be the safe path to a career and a family, but I won't have the chance to live out an ideal youth.

B) You had all of your college years to pal around and "apartment" with your friends. Now it's time to use your degree and work towards financial freedom. College days are over.

What you should do is this: C) Do neither, and for six months make up new Yahoo! accounts to spam the R&S category with off-topic questions. People appreciate the clutter. After six months, take a job at Wal-Mart.
