Is it hard to work as a retail sales associate?
I'm thinking about getting a job at a clothing store. Have any of you done it? Is it hard? Do you have to have a certain personality type? And do you get fired if you don't make enough sales?

It is easy except that you stand on your feet for 8 hours a day. People come into the store to buy things and your job is to help them. Nothing hard about that. Yes, it's hard. You deal with a lot of people who just have no idea how to read ("but the sign said...") and there's almost always at least one person who is mean -.- eh, sales associate is more you help people out and show them around, give them advice, etc. You're not really paid on comission (at least most places...
