I am a Canadian citizen applying for jobs in US. Am I legally authorized to work in US?
Hi Guys, I am applying for jobs in US and the career websites are asking me if I am legally authorized to work in US? I know as a Canadian citizen under NAFTA we can work in mutual countries ( by TN visa or H1), but I am totally confused with the answer yes or no? I just don't want to loose my career chances by saying "no" but at the same time I want to be truthful and correct. I would appreciate any authentic advice. Thanks in advance,

No,you are not authorized to work in the US. You are not a permanent resident or have a work visa. A US employer has to sponsor you for an H-1B visa.
