Why do many say here it is mandatory if you order a pizza you must tip the driver if you do not they say you?

Why do many say here it is mandatory if you order a pizza you must tip the driver if you do not they say you not should order a pizza ? Are the drivers now running pizza hut, papa johns, Domino's Pizza , if the jobs are that bad, why don't pizza chains stop delivery and stop demanding we pay their drivers with tips or we are not welcomed to order a pizza ?

The drivers make very little money, and in the past most places would tack on a delivery charge. When there isn't a delivery charge it is practice to give the driver a tip. Most places tack on a delivery fee these days anyway. They make money for miles, gas and time for delivery.

Although it is rather low class of a place to tell you you HAVE to tip the driver, you have to remember that most pizza drivers are earning a living on what they make in tips, and part of that has to go to maintenance and fuel for their car; that isn't given to them by the restaurant. Would you get to a restaurant where you're served and not tip? Then why would you do the same to the driver who delivers the pizza.

don't worry thanks to people like you the government is passing laws where tips are built into the costs like with waitresses a value added tax. So now the service will get worse because they have no incentive to get their quicker because they won't get any more money
