Is it a good idea to become a teacher right now?

I'm a sixteen year old sophomore and I've really began looking at careers that I'm interested in for the future. I've really reflected on it, and the only thing I really want to be is a teacher. But all I've been hearing is that it's not a good idea because of the recession. I don't know what to do, help?

Teaching is for... More
