I want to pursue a job in Acting?

I NRt to pursue a career in acting (I'm thirteen.) But I have no idea how to actually do that any advice? I have no experience in acting really but I've been told that I should be an actress xD ;A; Orz.

start practicing in plays and find out where auditions are being help, talk to your parents

Find a school that teaches film/tv acting, or a theatre school. Most have part time evening classes a couple times a week so it won't interfere with regular school. You can get training from them and since the teachers are probably working actors (I would hope), you can ask them how to get your foot in the door... More

Take a drama class if your school offers one and maybe in the summer you can try community theater to work with other professionals. It might help if you took voice and dance lessons so you can become a triple threat and be able to do multiple things. If acting is fun, take additional acting lessons and then you can... More

If you have no experience, you won't know whether or not you even LIKE acting. I suggest you stop listening to your friends and start listening to yourself.
