What should I do about this Pastry Chef Job?
Hi! So I'm nervous because I was just i guess hired for a pastry chef position at a restaurant. The thing is I usually bake for fun once in a while. I'm scared because I really don't know much about how ingredients work together or anything. I just need a job. How can I be good at this or how should I look at this "opportunity"?

The head chef (or kitchen manager) will tell you exactly what to do. Go ahead and make lots of mistakes. You will learn fast. Everyone will help you because the Pastry Chef is the best-loved person in every kitchen. Write down the recipes the restaurant uses. Tape them on the wall.
