What are the typical career paths after service in an infantry type battalion/role?

I was just thinking in general what people do after serving in a infantry role. I would imagine people who were engineers or had trades in the army use this in civilian life, but what about people in infantry? Would I be wrong in thinking that some of the following are typical careers after service: Security, police force (something I'd have an interest in), fitness instructor, private military company.

I've been thinking the same thing as I'm currently on my way into the Royal Irish (infantry) and I don't think there are many jobs that will take people who have just been in the infantry and have no qualifications.
