Should Stuart Broad be allowed to play as a top order batsman?

Perhaps he could do a decent job at No.7 in tests but I wouldn't rush him if I was the England selectors.

No I would say not but he is making a good argument for himself to be considered an accomplished allrounder.

He failed as a top order batsman in domestic cricket which is why he started concentrating more on his bowling and reconcile for batting order of #8 meant for bowling all-rounder. The one of reason of some good batting performances of Broad is that he is lower order batsman. Mostly he plays his game without any pressure. But once if you put him in top order then he might not succeed as he is now. Same one example was Irfan Pathan.

Hello mate, No there are very good batsman up in the order in English team. So Broad should do his current role as a lower order batsman.
