What to wear to drop off application?

I'm applying for the guest services agent position at the embassy suites. I am dropping off the application tomorrow and have nothing to wear. Is it ok to wear dark skinny jeans and a nice blouse? This is just for dropping off the application. Thanks

Dress as though you already have the job. Find out what the dress code is and wear that. You never know who will be watching you and what they'll say later about "the girl who dropped off an application".

No, it is not okay to wear that. First impressions are everything. Read this article from Yahoo! that I read earlier today. Not too long but helpful.

Well probably you wont see the manager so it might not matter, but just in case you do I would dress up as much as you can.

When I drop off applications I treat it like the job interview - I wear a wig, dress pants, collared shirt, work shoes, make sure facial piercings aren't visible, and don't carry a bag or knapsack... More

it sounds okay to me

I agree with people saying dress for the job. Wear what you WOULD wear to an interview. First impressions are a huge deal. At my work, my boss always asks me to describe the person who dropped off their application. He decides based off their attitde, behavior, and appearance those first few moments. Good luck!
