Business Analyst or Software Developer as first job?

I am a fresh graduate and I am stuck to thinking whether to choose Business Analyst or Software Developer as my first job position. People told me the pros and cons about them. I have no idea what's the best first step to become an IT Project Manager someday. I thought about becoming a Project Manager because I think there's no good way of getting a CEO position in an IT Industry aside from becoming a PM first. Please help. +_+ Thanks a lot! Business Analyst has any way to get to the position of CEO? Or Software Developer is the better way to get there? I just thought that, to be a CEO you need to follow this process: Software Developer/System Developer -> (Software/System Architect) -> Project Manager -> Program Manager -> Portfolio Manager Does Business Analyst has a way like the SoftDeveloper? I was just thinking. I'm just a fresh graduate and I don't have much knowledge regarding real-world ladder.
