What Should I Do? Need Advice...?

So I'm 22 weeks and 1 day pregnant, I keep telling the father that its not his. Don't judge please. He is 17 and I'm 17. He works on the oil rigs. He gets paid ALOT, but he acts so childish, and spends his money poorly. We did date back in march when I concieved. I broke it off with him(didn't know I was pregnant at the time), because of the way he acts. I don't like him at all. I just think that my baby should have a father but I don't want it to be him. I asked him "If the baby is yours did you wanna get back together and work things out?" I'm pretty certain that it is his. He also said no, because he works too much. I just don't know what to do. It's hard going through this pregnancy without a partner. I just don't know if I should tell him or not that the baby is his.. :'( He also told me when I first found out that i was pregnant that if the baby is his that he is gonna try and get custody of my baby. I don't want him taking my baby from me. What should I do? </3 I put this is the pregnancy forum, thing, because It's basically about the baby, not relationships.

Whether he is the father or not is not something u can 'decide'. He either is or isn't and finding that out wd be a good start to any other decisions you make. Doesn't mean you have to get back with him if he is the father but it wd be good for the baby ro know who daddy is in the future. How many other possibilities... More

unless you're are completely incompetent he will not get custody. he does have the right to know and you'll need his money babies are expensive. You don't have to be with him for him to be a father. Good luck!

You don't need to get back with him and he cannot take your baby! It amazes me that men threaten women with this because it is a ridiculous statement unless the Mother is a completely unfit mother, he will not get full custody. Courts favor the joint custody agreement between the mother and father which normally means... More
