Different types of jobs and majors involving herbs, plants, and botany?

I'm only going into ninth grade but I want to have at least a general idea of all the possibilities out there for college. I currently go to a arts school, and major in visual art there. I really find horticulture, botany, and herbalism interesting. I want to go to college for the uses of the plants, not so much their structure and genes. This summer I got really into uses different plants to make paints and that is the kind of thing I want to study. Using plants for medicine and arts. What would this be considered? And what would I have to major in to get a degree in that job?
