I'm moving to a different state and need advice on whether I should transport my car or just buy a new one?

I was offered a job with Border Patrol in Southern California but right now I live in Tampa, FL. I drive a Hyundai Accent with about 95,000 miles on it and I want to know if it's even worth it spending money to transport it or should I just buy a new car. The third option would be me driving from FL to CA. Which is the best option?

Weigh you options on cost. Auto shipping will run you about $1100 and take 7-10 days. Driving will cost you gas, food, hotel and your time. If you need to ship it, call Post Oak.

Don't get a new car unless it's really old. I would suggest shipping it as long as you have a way of retrieving it when it arrives. It might be cheaper that way, and you might be able to store some stuff in it... More
