What's the chances that a retail store manager on suspension for using a lost gift card to get fired?
My friend who's a store manager at this retail store found a gift card on the floor and used it under his employee number. Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking, but the past is done, and nothing can be done about it He is already suspended for a week . But I am curious what would be the next protocol? Would this lead to termination after the week has past?

Being fired is the least of his problems. He could be facing criminal charges for theft, and the amount of the card will depend on the seriousness of the charge, not the amount he spent. So if the card was $200.00 and he only spent 25 cents, he will still be charged with taking $200.00
