When is rush hour traffic in Orlando on I4 in the morning?

I have to bring a friend to the Orlando International Airport tomorrow morning (Tuesday morning). How early should I drop him off, if I have to be to my job in Lakeland, FL by 7:30 am. Thanks!

You'll be ok. Lakeland is 52 miles from downtown Orlando. If you go through downtown at 6 am it will be clear. The traffic near Disney will not be bad. The only park that opens early will be the Magic Kingdom. They report to work at 5:30 to 6:30 am.

I4 is terrible during rush hour. Know that people should be at the airport at least at 1.5-2 hours before their departure time. You're gonna be leaving real early in the morning.

Make sure you have your Speed pass or change for the tolls... More

Leave the airport by 6:15. Driving from the airport to lakeland at that time in the morning only takes an hour.
