California highschool job?

Thanks for whoever reads and replies. Well, I've been working at round table pizza since for 15 months almost I'm 17 and I'm getting Paid minimum wage for 8.00p/h Well I recently noticed my friend/ coworker is being payed 8.50p/h So I thought I must have been payed every check for 8.50p/h rate as well. I go home to review my checks and it's at 8p/h. Well my dilemma here is I believe I should be payed as equal as my coworker or more. I don't mean to brag but I've been working there for almost 15 months and he has around 4 months. Im doing all the work there literally because I have to cashier/ answer call center calls/ make pizzas and the oven work at ROUND TABLE PIZZA I believe I'm his best employee or 2nd best employee. The same goes for my brother who works there. It's so stressful because let's say I'm doing dishes or in the back cleaning if a phone call rings . I imediatly have to run across the store or rush to get to phone because my other coworkers don't speak English or there role " isn't to answer phone calls" there just pizza makers. I'm doing everything I even have to drop all the dishes in my hand just to answer a ringing phone because my manager says PHONE PHONE ! ok you would say why not answer just calls then I can't if I'm waiting for a call he will say go do something help make pizzas. Ok I'm making a pizza now and a phone call rings I have to rush and wash my hands super fast to answer it.. By the way another reason why I'm one I'f not the best employee is that he fires alot of my coworkers even and not me. He gives me alot of hours but I feel like I'm treated like a rag doll there. I'm thinking about telling him to raise my pay to maybe 9p/h I've been there to cover everyones shift even morning shifts which makes me work 10hr days sometimes because of my original afternoon shift. I've been applying for many places and hopefully I will get hired at officemax. Not to be lazy but it would be an easier job and maybe a little more pay rate

At a certain point, the wants and desires of some teenagers exceed their parents' ability to cover the cost. Other teens are so independent that even though their parents may still be offering cash, they'd prefer to earn their own money.
