Is it normal for a hiring manager to not respond to a e-mail "thank you" after an interview?
I had a job interview on Monday afternoon at a law firm. On Wednesday I e-mailed the two hiring managers and the HR coordinator telling them thank you and I appreciated their time. I didn't hear back from the two hiring managers. If I was thinking about hiring someone I would e-mail that person back so I am thinking I didn't get the job....

No your thank you makes you sound desperate and probably a turn off.

I would not say "normal" just usual...what are they to say..."you are welcome" ? The standard procedure is for them to either call you to hire you or send a letter informing you they have chosen another candidate & thank you for your time... More
