Why do liberals claim to want more jobs, yet they go after the job creators via regulation and taxes?

Like the EPA's war on jobs against the coal and cement industries. The left calls for more jobs, but their policies punish those who create jobs. Then they wonder why nobody wants to invest their money!

The average wage for American workers has remained flat for the last three decades (adjusted for inflation). Corporations are making more money than ever in their history. Lack of regulation caused the housing bubble to burst.

The jobs they want are govt union jobs whose function is to redistribute wealth to low income people so they will keep voting for liberals in order to keep the wealth coming their way.

For over 10 years, no regulations, and no taxes. Where are the jobs?
Answered By: Sassy One - 8/19/2011

Actually there were higher taxes and more regulation from 1990-2000 and far more job creation than from 2000-2010. So, now that you've been proved a liar or ignorant will you admit it?

If you are against destroying mountains and creating giant sludge piles you must be an idiot, is that what your position is? You should go drink from a stream in appalacia. Take a nice big gulp. Taste the freedom.

If they are the job creators let them prove it!

The left just wants more government jobs. For some reason liberals don't realize that if you want jobs, the govt should stay out of the way and let the private sector do its thing.

The EPA is not against coal mining . They are just against destroying every stream in the vicinity to do it . Just because coal companies want to do things their way does not mean everyone else is wrong . Would you destroy your home to get an ant out ?

Because job creators aren't people (notice what they say complaining about the Citizens' United decision), and because job creators are so wealthy they can handle ANY regulations and taxes and still be wealthy enough to create jobs.
