what are the true qualifications to become a solar technician?

I just finished 40 hrs training in PV technology and also passed NABCEP's and have an engineering degree from over seas in material engineering (related to solar industry) but have no prior experiance being a solar technician OR being an electrician..just some construction experiance...how hard for a guy with such status to clime the first step in solar industry?

That is a difficult question. Many of the established businesses train their own people from the ground up. You could send your resumes to them. Solar power is growing by about 25% annually.
